A note from me
For you, one day.
I have thought a lot about the kind of father I want to be. There are things I want my future sons to know about life, about God, about character, about people and about themselves. There are also things I want them to know about me.
Not just the man they will call Dad, but the boy I was before I became their father. The things I believed, the mistakes I made, the dreams I chased, the people who shaped me, and the lessons life taught me along the way. I want them to understand the experiences behind the advice I give them.
So this is where I’m keeping those things. Some are lessons I want to pass on. Others are stories I want them to remember. And while I’m writing these for my boys, perhaps someone else will find something here that they need, too.
